Per yesterday's post, it appears that I need to restart. I'd rather not discuss why on a diet blog. I imagine at some point I will want to come here to determine what I ate and how I felt through this process and details might be triggering. I am a middle aged snowflake and all that (not really, I've just learned enough through being alive to not set traps for myself).
I woke up thinking about toast but then chose to reboot. This may well happen more than once. It's a tough world and all that. So let's get on with the day, shall we?
Breakfast
Sweet peppers and hummus, plus coffee with foamy nutpod (pretty sure that name was the brainchild of a 13 year old boy). It was quite delicious. One of my life goals is learning every possible HDT* and testing it out. This one was a winner. Plus it's a stupidly easy meal.Not investigating how I feel today because it's technically day one and all that.
Second breakfast/morning snack
- Dunkin iced coffee with almond milk. I'm assuming it's unsweetened, therefore Whole 30 compliant. I didn't ask because I really wanted iced coffee.
- Green smoothie:
- About 1.5 cups of spinach
- 3 dates
- 4 sliced frozen peaches
- Tablespoon of compliant protein powder
- Water and ice
Lunch
Gigantic Salad with:
- Fancy lettuce from ALDI
- green onion
- celery
- chickpea salad:
- Chickpeas, partially mashed
- Avocado
- Pickle juice
- Everything bagel seasoning
Plus a glass of water.
Dinner
Clearly, Day One will be starting again tomorrow because beer is happening again. Also having the stir fry with knojac noodles and peanut sauce.
